From Goldman Sachs’s donation of Karukinka in September 2004, WCS began an extraordinary alliance with this major financial institution. This formal alliance between a financial giant and a prestigious international conservation NGO is unique in the world, and not replicated to date.

The objective of this alliance is to support and strengthen the conservation work done in Karukinka, generating a space for cooperative efforts by two traditionally opposed worlds, thus providing Karukinka not only with ecological sustainability, but also financial sustainability.
