WCS has designed a Public Use Plan for Karukinka based on the development of low-impact and ecologically sustainable activities, opening spaces for environmental education and research, and allowing the development of tourism for conservation.

The Public Use Plan includes, among other things, the construction of first-rate biological stations and visitor centers to promote WCS’s conservation vision and allow the development of activities to manage, administer and control exotic species, research, education and tourism.

Above all, we expect Karukinka’s Public Use Plan to favor sustained local development on Tierra del Fuego.
